This one started differently than most jobs we take on. A previous contractor had already begun the work - but the homeowner wasn't happy with how things were going. The grades were off, the construction wasn't where it needed to be, and the whole thing needed to be redone. That's where we came in.

We tore out everything that had been done and started from scratch. That meant re-establishing proper elevations, regrading the site, and rebuilding the boulder retaining walls from the ground up. No shortcuts. No working around someone else's mistakes. Just a clean slate and the right approach from the start.

Boulder retaining walls aren't just about stacking rock. The excavation and grading underneath is what determines whether a wall holds up for a few years or a few decades. Get that part wrong, and it doesn't matter how good the boulders look on top. We made sure the foundation of this whole project was solid before a single boulder went into its final spot.

The finished result is a completely new set of boulder retaining walls that hold the grade properly, create usable flat space for the homeowner to work with, and are built to last. The homeowner now has real room to add landscaping, plantings, or whatever they want to do with that space - and a wall they can actually trust.
